You will register here if you are a teacher (or the student's parent or guardian that is sponsoring their entry). Teacher Registration Guide

Teacher Registration Opens: Friday, January 1, 2021
Student Registration Opens: Friday, January 8, 2021
All Registration Closes: Friday, February 5, 2021
Registration Fees Due: Wednesday, February 17, 2021

Attention Teachers! If you are participating for the first time, you will need to contact the state office at nebraskanhd@gmail.com BEFORE you try to register in order to have your school added into the system.

Teachers need to have a completed registration prior to any students registering.  Once registered, the account will remain active in the system from year to year unless requested otherwise. If you have forgotten your password, you have two options:  there is a “forgot my password” automated option; or you can email nebraskanhd@gmail.com to have your password manually reset by the state office.

The registration system will now recognizes co-teachers - all co-teachers should create their own individual account and for verification list all co-teachers when prompted during the registration process. Students must select one teacher when registering and have the option to select up to three teachers listed for their school.

Information required of teachers: gender, address, phone number, and email address to create an account. Additional information is asked but not required.

Include a second email that is not associated with your school email.  Updates that are sent as a mass email are sometimes rejected by school accounts and you may need to be contacted after school is out if your student(s) qualify for the National Contest.
